DVD and Training Materials

The DAV is proud to release the "Guide to Debating" DVD and Training Materials. This guide has been designed by experienced DAV trainers to give your students the best opportunity at succeeding in debating competitions.

The Guide includes:

• Beginner Debating Training
• Advanced Debating Training
• Two demonstration debates, one junior and one senior
• Accompanying written materials, resources, and class exercises

The DVD introduces students to the rules and structure debating, and then explains and gives helpful advice in presentation, argumentation and structure.

The training is delivered by Victoria's top debaters and adjudicators, and is supplemented by examples from student debaters, to show your students the techniques "in action".

This comprehensive guide to beginner and advanced debating will be of great assistance to debaters and debating co-ordinators, and will equip your debating teams with all they need to excel in debates.

The DVD package costs $95 and includes the training materials on DVD and training notes and other written resources on CD-ROM. You also have the option of purchasing the Australia-Asia Debating Guide, which is the guidebook used in all DAV competitions.
