Welcome to the DAV Website
The DAV is a non-profit association which exists to promote debate. It
is the peak debating body in Victoria and runs large competitions for
adults and for schools across Victoria. It provides training and
resources for debaters, teachers and adjudicators.

Melbourne Grammar School 6 defeated Scotch College 1 in a unanimous decision.
C grade
'That western governments should prioritise foreign aid over domestic social welfare'
Lauriston Girls' School 2 defeated St. Patrick's College 1 in a split decision.
D grade
'That media outlets should not report the details of crimes that risk fueling racist or extremist retaliation'
Melbourne Grammar School 2 defeated Nossal High School 1 in a unanimous decision.
